Care guide
A garment made to your measurements is made to last. A few simple gestures are enough to keep it right, season after season.
Rest
After each wear, hang your jacket on a broad hanger that supports the shoulders. Let it rest for a day before wearing it again: the cloth recovers its shape on its own.
The brush
A natural bristle clothes brush, used from top to bottom, removes dust and revives the wool. It is the simplest and most effective care there is.
Steam rather than dry cleaning
Dry cleaning wears the fibres. Keep it for stains, once or twice a year. To remove creases, gentle steam is enough, held away from the cloth.
Knitwear
Knitwear is folded, never hung. Wash it by hand in cold water and let it dry flat.
Shoes
Insert wooden shoe trees as soon as you take them off, and alternate pairs. Regular polishing feeds the leather and builds its patina.
Travel
Travel with your Dezache garment bag. On arrival, hang the piece in a warm bathroom: the steam lets the creases fall away.
